This 3M™ Tegaderm™ I.V. Transparent Film Dressing is designed for I.V. applications with a notched and reinforced soft cloth border to minimise edge lift and catheter movement.
3M's laboratory testing has proven 3M™ Tegaderm™ and Tegaderm™ HP Transparent Dressings provide a viral (HIV-1 and HBV) barrier while dressings remain intact without leakage.
- The CDC/HICPAC Guidelines for the Prevention of Intravascular Catheter-Related Infections base dressing change recommendations on studies using Tegaderm™ Film.
- The notched design provides a better seal around the catheter site
